The government has a redemptive gift of "Ruler" over us; simply meaning that we, the government, make laws and develop boundaries that will protect and enhance our living together as a society. If "Ruler" is a redemptive gift that means that the government needs to "redeem" (recover, rescue, set free) our  ability to make laws and set parameters that measure up with God, THE ULTIMATE RULER of all. Therefore let us pray that our government will be established in FAITH in the TRUE ONE ABOVE. 

"The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation and my stronghold (Psalm 18:2).

Ruler of the Universe, we come before you in the Name of the King of Kings, Ruler of  all Rulers, Head of the Universe, Jesus Christ. We come before You, humbled and prayerful. LORD, use Your right hand, JESUS CHRIST to set the standard for all leaders of the world. Send in the FIRE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT to refine and burn out all idols, especially the spirit of pride that destroys the human spirit, that YOU created. We come together as ONE BODY, THE BODY OF CHRIST JESUS, and we cry out for Your people to STAND WITH HIM, IN HIM, AND THROUGH HIM as You come in victory and all YOUR GLORY!  Alleluia! Amen
